Social Media Coordinator


You’re an organized, hardworking, and fun social media pro who’s committed to using your skills to bring wisdom, inspiration, and motivation to the world. You have a passion for planning and posting engaging social content. 

‍You’ll use your social media, organizational, and communication expertise to plan and facilitate fresh and compelling social media content that furthers our brand’s online presence. You’ll work hand-in-hand with our Social Media Manager to engage our audience with content that is insightful, educational, and fun. 

What you’ll be doing in this role:

  • Planning, scheduling, and monitoring daily posts across social media channels (e.g. Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, SMS text marketing platform etc.)
  • Interacting with communities via DMs, comments, etc.
  • Creating engaging social media content that’s native and relevant to each platform
  • Under the direction of the Social Media Manager, collaborate with the social media team to provide input on the content calendar while leveraging trending topics, hashtags, and user generated content
  • Review analytics and create weekly reports on key metrics
  • Other duties as assigned

  • You live and breathe social media and have a constant pulse on new trends and what’s working

  • You’re an effective, clear communicator in all formats
  • You care deeply about your work, colleagues, and the wellbeing of the company
  • You’re not thin-skinned or (overly) attached to your ego — you’re focused on finding, developing, and executing on the best ideas to get the best results
  • You’re 10,000% comfortable working in a virtual environment
  • You do great work autonomously and as part of a highly collaborative team (you’ll need to do both here!)
  • You do whatever it takes and the phrase “that’s not my job” is not a part of your vocabulary

In an ideal world, you have:

  • 2+ years of social media experience 
  • Experience working with Instagram, TikTok, Pinterest, Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, and other social media platforms
  • Strong technical aptitude
  • Strong creative and aesthetic skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • A curious, efficient, and solution-oriented mindset
  • You live and work in the continental United States

  • This is a part-time virtual position working with our virtual team. You’ll have full autonomy over where you work, what you wear, and which pet sits at your feet
